Episode of Accessing Organizational Information -Data Warehouse


OKay guys ,today in the nice morning , i would like to share with you guys about this chapter 8 . so far ,Alhamdullilah we have already going until here . So what have i understand in this chapter is abou data warehouse . Data warehouse is a logical collection of information. (ETL) extraction,transformation and loading is process of extracts information from internal and external database loads into the data warehouse .


 Data mining is the process of analyzing data to extract information not offered by the raw data alone. Information Cleansing or Scrubbing means a process that weeds out and fixes or discards inconsistent.Lastly Business intelligence refer to applications and technologies that are used to support decision making efforts.The principal of BI are technology,people and culture . So guys ,, i have to stopped here . because i am so sleepy . so as usual , wait for the next chapter yaa . okay bye . =)



Episode of Storing organizational Information-Database


In my understanding of this chapter 7,,organizational information mostly stored in the database . Database is very useful and important in collecting records the information . Without database , we cannot set the objective because we dont know the information . In relational database fundamentals,we have hierarchical database model and the network database model .There are many advantages of relational database such as increased flexibility,increased scalability and performance ,reduce information redundancy and vise versa . While the database management system here is software,for example : 



Integration  allows separate systems to communicate directly with each other . 



Episode of Valuing Organizational Information ...=)



From my understanding in this chapter 6,what can i share is organizational information comes into three information that are information levels,information formats and information granularities . The characteristic of type information divide by two that are Transactional and the second one is analytical information . Besides that ,from of this chapter, i'm also understand about the costs of poor information and also the benefit of good information . 







Episode of Organizational structures That support strategic initiatives ...=)


In this chapter 5 , there are five responsibilities of organizatinal structures that are chief information officer (CIO) is responsible for overseeing all uses of information technology and ensuring the strategic with business goal and objective . Next,Chief Technology Officer is responsible to ensuring the throughput,speed,and accuracy . Chief Security officer is responsible for ensuring the security system .Chief privacy ofificer is responsible to ensuring the ethical and legal use of information. The last Chief Knowledge officer is responsible to collecting the organization's knowledge.While the organizational fundamentals divide by two that are :

Episode of Measuring the success of Strategic Initiatives ...

 like to say hai againstt to my follower!.. im sorry for my lately updating  my blog .be smile . As i have promised before this ,i will continuing sharing about the next chapter 4 which is measuring of success of strategic initiative .

In this chapter ,i have learn that if we want to measure our planning is success , we need to ask ourself how we are going to manage the strategic . so , by this chapter , mostly i remembered that effectiveness focuses on how well an organization is achieving its goals and objective while efficiency focuses on how organization use resource in optimal way . Next knowledge that i know from in this chapter for more is Benchmarking is baseline values the system seeks to attain or process of continuously measuring system results. The balanced scorecard is a management system that enables organization to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action . so in summary , this is what i have learn from this topic



so i will stop this chapter here . hopefully,you guys understand and can take note about what i have explain. so as usual,,wait for the next chapter .see you again . bye










Episode of Strategic Initiative for implementing Competitive Advantages...

delicious right ? haha . Actually , today i want to continuing share with you guys about the next chapter 3 that is strategic initiative for implementing competitive advantages . do you know what is that ? now let me explain more . 



So from my knowledge , or what i have understand in this chapter is strategic initiative that an organization can undertakes to help it gain competitive advantages and business efficiencies . By this chapter ,i'm also know what is meaning of supply chain management (SCM) and its basic components that are Supply chain strategy,Supply Chain partner,Supply chain operation and that one supply chain logistic . For example that what can i relate in this topic is :      LED torch light




Besides that, let i explain about business process reengineering means that analysis and redesign of workflow within and between enterprises . The purpose of BPR is to make all business process is the best in class . By Enterprise Resource Planning ,i know that employees can make decision on business operations after they integrate with all departments .
